Tony Blair told The Observer yesterday that “you could not make a more serious charge against a prime minister” than alleging that he had ordered troops into war on a basis which he had deliberately falsified. These charges happen to be wrong and I think everyone now accepts that the charges are wrong. I am astonished if they (the BBC) are still saying it’s accurate.”

The BBC is (oh glorious day!) in a lot of trouble. In a nutshell, they accused the PM of lying in order to manipulate the public into approving war with Iraq. Its looking more and more like the only lying going on was on the part of the leftists in the BBC newsrooms. Apparently, a real debate on the continued existence of the Beeb is about to ensue. In a word: hallelujah.
