More on the Mitzna resignation, this time from the generally Right wing Jerusalem Post. This one basically blames it all on Mitzna's political ineptitude, which is certainly some of the story, but Labor's problem is bigger then just a bad Chairman. If this was true, then why did they fare so badly under Barak and Ben-Eliezer? The Labor Party's problems are fundamental: structural, historical, and ideological. I think the only guy who could put it back together is Ehud Barak, I would look for him to start making some major noises pretty soon. He's too young, too ambitious, and too smart to be away from politics for too long, and if Bibi can make a comeback, this is no doubt that Barak can as well.
