Israel Defense Forces troops located missing cab
driver Eliyahu Gurel alive near the West Bank city
of Ramallah late Tuesday night.

Gurel, who had been missing
since Friday afternoon, was
found in an abandoned building
in Bituniya, west of Ramallah.

The troops broke into the
building and overtook the
kidnappers. Four kidnappers, as
well as Palestinians who had
assisted them, were arrested during and prior
to the rescue operation. None of the soldiers
were hurt in the action.
