An interesting post at Atlantic Blog on some of the people Nick Kristof (otherwise known as the "Israel put implants in my brain stem" columnist at the NY Times) considers reliable sources. Always background check whenever you start reading things claimed to be authoritative. You have to know where people are getting their information and what their ideological baggage is before you buy it. Ever gone through Chomsky's footnotes?
