U.S. President George W. Bush was "deeply troubled"
by an Israeli assassination attempt on Hamas
leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi and he fears this could
undermine Palestinian anti-terror efforts, a White
House spokesman said on Tuesday.

"The president is concerned that
the strike will undermine
efforts by Palestinian
authorities and others to bring
an end to terrorist attacks and
does not contribute to the
security of Israel," White
House spokesman Ari Fleischer
told reporters.

I really hope George is playing to the media here, because if he's decided to appease Palestinian terrorism as well then it could destroy everything he's tried to accomplish over the past two years. This is a bad move, bad for Israel, bad for the War and bad for America. Just read the article and see how much its emboldened Hamas.
